RightPastePrivacy Policy
RightPaste is a macOS clipboard utility that helps you access and reuse copied content. This policy describes the website and the intended operation of RightPaste 1.0. App-specific privacy disclosures will be checked against the final signed distribution build and updated as needed before the application launches.
Clipboard history
RightPaste stores clipboard history locally on your Mac to support its features, including recent copies, pinned items, search and Paste All. The app is designed to work without uploading clipboard history to a RightPaste cloud service.
Accounts and subscriptions
RightPaste does not require a RightPaste account or subscription for its core functionality.
App permissions
RightPaste may request macOS permission for its automatic-paste functionality. You can review relevant permissions in macOS System Settings. RightPaste also provides settings for excluding applications from clipboard tracking.
Stored data and deletion
RightPaste stores copied text in local history files, together with local information used to manage the history. App preferences, including excluded-app selections, are stored on your Mac.
You can remove individual clipboard-history items, use Clear History, or use the application's reset control. Clear History attempts to delete locally stored history content files. File-system errors may prevent individual files from being removed, and data-recovery handling can retain a local backup of a damaged history index. Uninstalling an app does not necessarily remove its locally stored support files.
RightPaste can pause history recording and exclude selected applications from tracking. Some clipboard content marked as concealed or transient by other applications is skipped; do not rely on this alone to prevent sensitive information from being stored.

Website hosting and visitor data
The official RightPaste website is intended to be hosted using Cloudflare Pages at rightpaste.com, with rightpaste.app redirecting to the main website. Cloudflare may process technical request information, including IP addresses and traffic metadata, to deliver and protect the website. For details, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
The current RightPaste website does not include advertising or analytics scripts in its source code. Any additional website analytics or tracking services will require a review of this policy before activation.

If you contact rightpaste@gmail.com, the information you choose to include will be used to respond to your request. Email correspondence is processed by the email provider under its applicable terms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if RightPaste's features or data-handling practices change.
